Werden Sie Teil der WEBER GmbH und unterstützen Sie uns bei der Realisierung unserer Projekte in Steißlingen am Bodensee als Senior Vision Engineer (m/w/d) Halcon
Ihre Aufgaben
Design and development of vision applications for semiconductor equipment, including development of new programs and modules, as well as enhancements and modifications of existing software
* Adaptation and further development of image processing algorithms for inspection systems with camera technology (GigE Vision interface), sensors, optics, and lighting
* Determine required components for our clients` visual inspection systems (camera, lighting, lens)
* Integration, commissioning, and functional testing of the inspection systems
* Prepare feasibility analyses for new samples / requirements of the customer
* Development of image processing algorithms with Halcon for FOUP inspection systems
* Software development and execution of software tests in the field of image processing with Halcon for the inspection of wafer carriers, e.g. dimensional measurement, defect and deformation detection
* Work at the tool for camera / illumination tests and adjustments, as well as work with the other teams, to be able to find appropriate solution to solve task and problems.
* Occasional trip to customer site worldwide (mainly to China), for tools installation or onsite troubleshooting.
Ihr Profil
* Bachelor or master’s degree in computer science, automation or mechatronic
* Professional experience in a comparable position in image processing or in the field of machine vision, computer vision, compression and computer vision techniques with an emphasis on algorithms
* Extensive knowledge with common image processing systems with MVTec Halcon, at least 2 years
* Good analytical and conceptional skills
* Your experience in image processing is complemented with a consisting customer and solution-oriented approach
* Fluency in English is mandatory; good knowledge in Chinese is an advantage
* Willingness to travel (10% - 20%)
