The Department of Cellular Biophysics (Prof. Dr. Joachim P. Spatz) is looking for a
Technical Assistant (CTA) (m/f/div) in the Fields of Applied Chemistry and Battery Research
YOUR TASKS
direct collaboration with PhD students and postdocs on cutting-edge research
fabrication of novel metal fiber-based current collectors
manufacturing and testing of battery electrodes and battery cells
support the organization of chemistry and battery laboratories
support the management of research and data infrastructure
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
completed vocational training as a technical assistant (CTA), laboratory assistant in physics, engineering, or chemistry, or a comparable scientific education
practical laboratory experience in the fields of physics and chemistry
preferably practical laboratory experience in the context of battery research
excellent organizational and communication skills, high flexibility and team spirit
independent, goal-oriented, analytical way of working
very good written and oral communication skills in German and English
willingness to acquire knowledge in new areas and to contribute creatively to the further development of the research focus
